Bondi Beach - Sydney Bondi Beach is about 7km from the city centre and is a great place to go to cool down on a hot summers day. The Esplanade has a pavilion, cultural centre and cafes where you can sit and feel the cool ocean breeze blowing across the golden sand Bondi Beach is about 1km long. At the southern end is Bondi baths and at the northern end is a childs wading pool. A walking track is available for walking all the way from Bondi to Bronte Beach (about 3.5km). Its a nice way to spend and afternoon or evening unwinding from a busy day. The views are fantastic all the way. There are plenty of things to do at Bondi, like learning to surf or hiring a surfboard or boogie board and having a go at it on your own (there is a hire shop on the beach).
