Cronulla Beach - Sydney

Cronulla Beach is located about 35km south of Sydney on the south ocean side of Botany Bay. Its distance from the city make it a great place to go to get away from the more densely populated beaches which are closer to the city.

Cronulla consist of a number of beaches from south to north. These being Shelly Beach, South Cronulla, North Cronulla, Eloura and Wanda Beach. The surf is normally very good around these beaches because of the locality of the different beaches. Shelly beach is very protect and private. South Cronulla is also protected from southerly swells and North Cronulla, Eloura and Wanda beaches are much more open to the elements (hence bigger swells)

Cronulla has over 60 restaurants and cafes in the area and also a movie cinema and pub if you want to get out of the for a while.

The best way to get to Cronulla Beach by public transport is train and takes about 40 minutes from Sydney CBD..
