Sydney Harbour Bridge - Sydney The Sydney Harbour Bridge (commonly known among Sydneysiders as the Coat Hanger) along with the Opera House is Sydneys most well known landmarks. It was open in 1932 after 6 years of construction. Together with the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge is the most photographed image of Sydney. In fact Sydney is immediately recognised by these to icons. The arch spans 1/2 kilometre and tours are run every 10 minutes to the top of the arch (not for the faint hearted). The Bridgeclimb experience departs every 10 minutes and the experience takes about 3 1/2 hours.. Ticket prices start at $169 for adults and $100 for children.
